Our planet is in the midst of a stormy transition to a new age or Aeon. The signs of impending change are all around us. There is still much to learn as to the meaning of these signs, but it has become clear that humanity has lost the connection with the natural world and the order of the cosmos that our ancestors revered and upheld.  There is a desperate need at this time for clear spiritual guidance in accordance with the ancient mystery traditions.

Numerous legends and prophecies have indicated that the British Isles are to play a vital role in the transition. By working closely with British ancestral guides – from distant prehistory as well as from the Celtic, Saxon and Norse traditions – the British Mystery School of Avalon was created to bring through teachings and guidance at this uniquely challenging time.  It offers the opportunity to connect with the wisdom, power and compassion of the ancestors, and to travel the inner pathways of spirit and healing that they hold open for us.

Working with the ancestors and the great elemental beings of the Earth is crucial at this time. Renewing our connection to earth and sky at specific locations is fundamental to this work. This Mystery School has been founded in Glastonbury because the power of Avalon is of great importance in the fulfillment of the British Mysteries.  And because the otherworld journey is central to the spiritual role of Avalon, the School also brings together wisdom teachings from other mystery traditions concerning that journey.
