Our planet is in the midst of a stormy transition whose exact character is as yet uncertain. The signs of impending change are all around us. There is still much to learn as to the meaning of these signs, but it is clear that humanity has lost its connection with the natural world and the order of the cosmos that our distant ancestors revered and upheld.  There is a desperate need at this time for clear spiritual guidance.

Numerous legends and prophecies have indicated that the British Isles are to play a significant part in the coming global changes. The British mysteries are a fragmented but still powerful body of wisdom teachings with deep roots in the earliest spiritual insights of our human species. This site offers a gateway into the essence of those teachings: a core of ancient wisdom that can support us at this time of planetary crisis. We have worked closely with British ancestral guides – from distant prehistory as well as from the Celtic, Saxon and Norse traditions – to bring through teachings and guidance for this epoch.  

Honouring both the ancestors and the spirits of the land is fundamental to this work. We invite you to walk the land more reverently, to honour it wherever you may live, as well as at places of especial power, and to participate in the seasonal cycle of devotion, ritual and offerings that our ancestors upheld. But reaching the heart of these mysteries also requires the seeker to combine these ritual practices with a more personal and interior path, in order to find their own balance between earth and sky. We urge you to seek the wisdom, power and compassion of the ancestors and of our powerful native spirits, and to travel the forgotten pathways of soul, spirit and healing that they hold open for us.
